Hurricane Maria changed the profile of comfort and independent living to one of giving and community. And this significance was delivered by a colleague in Law School whom I was helping during this season of challenges. And my community and haven was provided by my sister Lynaris Rivera and my niece Natalia. My niece reminded me that proximity brings closeness, and closeness reveals treasures.
